Ginuwine aka "Pony"
Meet our latest project horse, or in this case, project pony, affectionately known as.... "Pony." Pony is a 2021 14hh grade pony gelding who arrived green broke to Lucky Cricket Farm in August 2024.
Pony quickly made his way into our hearts with his dashing good looks and his sweet and loving personality. Pony has been a quick study and has shown promise as a dressage pony, but also has a natural affinity for jumping.
Pony is a cute mover with a naturally balanced canter - Colleen is 5'9" and Pony's chubby little barrel takes up her long leg nicely. Pony has trailered off the property for a trail ride at Christie Hoffman Farm Park and was very rideable and level headed. He bravely and obediently walked, trotted, cantered around the park without spooking at anything and even crossed water and jumped a few of the XC jumps.
I foresee Pony being the perfect match for an adult rider looking to stay a little closer to the ground or a good riding junior working with a trainer.
Pony has been very sensible, but is forward thinking and green, so he requires a capable rider.
Barefoot, easy keeper, and a pleasure to have in the barn.
