Sales Policies
Scheduling a PPE:
PPEs are welcome at the buyer’s expense. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a horse. A buyer may schedule a PPE without a deposit, but the horse will not be removed from the market and another buyer could purchase the horse outright before the PPE.
The horse will not be held until a deposit has been received. Once a deposit has been received, buyers have 5 business days to schedule a PPE. Following the completion of the PPE, buyers have 2 business days to determine whether or not they will proceed with the sale. If for any reason, the buyer chooses not to move forward with the sale after the deposit has been received, the $250 deposit will not be returned.
Transportation and pick up:
Following the purchase of the horse, horses must be picked up within 7 days. Horses that are not picked up within 7 days will incur a $25/day charge for each day they remain on the farm beyond the 7 day grace period.
We are often able to provide transportation for shorter trips for an added cost or can help arrange shipping if desired.
Sales Contracts:
To ensure the safety of our horses in their next homes, each horse will be sold with a contract that prohibits the horse from being: placed in training as a racehorse, entered into a race, offered for sale at public auction, sold directly or indirectly for the purpose of slaughter, or used as a means of transportation on any public roadway. Additional clauses may apply.
Trial Rides (On farm):
Trial rides will take place in our outdoor arena and are weather dependent. Please plan accordingly.
