Lucky Cricket Farm is a small private barn located in Bedminster NJ, owned and operated by Colleen Nolan-Tran. We specialize in the training and sales of retired racehorses and take pride in offering horses that have been carefully started and thoughtfully assessed.

We strive to create lasting partnerships by matching each horse to a rider who complements their strengths and aspirations. We are committed to transparency, honesty, and finding each horse their perfect match.

Colleen has a passion for off-track horses (both thoroughbreds and standardbreds) and believes in balancing dressage training with aspects of groundwork, natural horsemanship, and positive reinforcement training.

Colleen actively competes in dressage and is active in promoting both standardbreds and thoroughbreds in careers after the track. Colleen has previously competed at the thoroughbred makeover and is active in promoting the standardbred in post-track careers as well. Driven by a profound love for these often-overlooked horses, Colleen hopes to reshape perceptions about retired racehorses and foster their success in new endeavors.
